ABERYSTYWTH UNIVERSITY PRIZE FOR A DYSTOPIAN NOVELLA or
RHEIDOL PRIZE FOR WRITING WITH A WELSH THEME OR SETTING

To enter either category costs £10 per entry payable via PayPal or cheque. We are extending a limited number of free entries for writers with a low income and so if you are in receipt of benefits such as Job Seeker’s Allowance, Working Tax Credits, Disability Living Allowance (or PIP), Carer’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance or Universal Credit, or if you earn less than the London Living Wage of £10.20 per hour, please disregard the next section and, on your entry form below, state that you would like your £10 entry fee to be waived. Please only apply for free entry if you would not otherwise be able to afford to enter.

In order to enter your writing online, there are two stages:

  1. Pay your £10 entry fee, per category, by paying here or by posting us your cheque. You do not need to pay this if you are going to tick the box on the entry form(s) below to say that you’re applying for a fee waiver.

  2. Complete one or more of the two forms below, scrolling down for the second form, depending on whether you are entering the Dystopian Novella category and/or the Writing with a Welsh Theme or Setting category. You may enter as many categories as you like as many times as you like, so long as you pay £10 per entry, but you will need to complete one form per entry.
